I have spent the last 35 years in the manufacturing industry specifically focused on enterprise manufacturing and engineering systems. I have accomplished the following:
- I have successfully installed three MRP systems of varying complexity. The first one was a simple order launching system (MRP I.) The second two systems were MRP II systems with order launching, shop floor control, inventory, purchasing, and receiving. The final installation included all of the requirements for Aerospace and Defense order control, including borrow-payback, that met all of the Defense Dept. MMAS (material management and accounting system) requirements.
I also have been trained in formal project management techniques, team building and team problem solving, and I understand the severe difficulty encountered in planning and executing an enterprise system of this magnitude.

- I have also successfully implemented an enterprise Product Data Management system. This system successfully integrated all of the company's engineering data into a fully accessible system that permitted on-line viewing of drawings, CAD data, CAD files, drawing status information, and product structures, both in engineering format and in manufacturing format. I also implemented a full on-line approval and release capability.
I am knowledgeable in engineering and manufacturing effectivity control and understand the requirements for DOD effectivity and as-designed/as-planned/as-built tracking.
