I work exclusively at your site - no need to unplug your equipment and haul it around. But, that is just a small portion of the services I offer. Here is a partial list:
- Apple Authorized Business Agent - I will assist you with any Mac related issues as well as support your purchase and setup of new equipment. Click on the link for direct access to the Apple Authorized Business Agent Web Store.
- PC Hardware Support - This includes adding or replacing hard drives, CD/RW drives, DVD drives, and other parts inside your computer, upgrading or replacing monitor, keyboard, or mouse. Computers can be made to last a long time, and sometimes, just adding additional memory can extend the life of your computer. I will also help you to evaluate when a complete replacement is more cost effective than repair or replacement of individual components.
- Software Support - Do you have questions on how to best utilize your software? Or questions on features? I don't know every piece of software available, but I know quite a few. Of particular interest is the office suite, outlook, other E-mail and personal information managers, most web browsers, PGP (an encryption program,) Quicken products, and more. I am also very familiar with many handheld software solutions.
- Computer Sales - I can provide you with any type of hardware or software, made to order. I am able to provide entire computer systems, components, software, handheld solutions, network components, and even some non-computer items. I will load any software you purchase from me on your computer.
- Networking - Do you need a network? Do you have more than one computer that you would like to share a single internet connection? Are you having networking problems? These are all areas that I can assist with. If you need to wire your home or office I can do that. If you prefer a wireless network, I can do that. Making the decision to choose a wired versus a wireless network is not a simple one. Make sure that you know all the answers before making a decision.
- High Speed Internet - Would you like to get a faster internet connection than a 56K modem? There are several solutions to choose from, depending on what is available in your area. Cable and DSL systems are available in most areas. Why call me when the cable or phone company offers to install? They will not help you with a shared connection. And if you ask them, they will sell you additional network addresses, which you do not need. Also, don't be discouraged if you cannot get access to a cable or DSL service. There are other solutions.
